Bear Lake Task Force: 3 BVRI Community Members Wanted

As discussed at the September 20 BVRI general meeting, summer 2020 saw a high level of visitation to Bear Valley, including larger than usual numbers of visitors to the Bear Lake beaches.  The BVRI board has heard concerns from BVRI members about the higher level of beach visitors given the ongoing Covid pandemic.  In response, we are forming a task force that will assess options for managing crowds on the lake in 2021.  We would like to have 2 or 3 BVRI members join 3 BVRI board members on this task force.
Volunteers are needed!  If you are a current BVRI member and you are interested in joining this task force, please send an email to colinbmckee@gmail.com In your email, please address two things: 1. What you can bring to the task force
2. Why you are interested / reasons you want to join
No lengthy email is needed, just a couple of sentences to answer these two questions.

The task force will evaluate what new beach rules / policies to implement, if any, based on a process including one or more surveys of the BVRI membership.  The task force will make recommendations to the BVRI board.  The process will conclude by February 28, when BVRI starts taking memberships for next year.  We hope to launch this task force by the end of September, so please respond by September 28 if you are interested in participating.
