2025 Chipper Program Form Available
Alpine County is pleased to be able to provide Bear Valley and the Alpine County properties in Sherman Acres a Residential Chipper Program funded through Alpine County to assist residents in disposing materials created from maintaining defensible space.
To participate in the program, please follow the instructions listed on the form and return the Request for Chipping Form and the Hold Harmless Agreement. This program can be applied for starting July 2 through September 30, 2025. The chipping will be performed during various weeks through the end of September.
The “Request For Chipping Form” and “Hold Harmless Agreement” must be submitted before an inspection will be completed on your property. Once you have completed them, please leave them at the Bear Valley Sheriff’s Office, or email them to Terry Woodrow at twoodrow@alpinecountyca.gov, or text your forms to 209-770-6487.
