BVRI Membership for 2019 Now Open – Support the Bear Valley Community

BVRI Memberships for 2019.   Annual dues are $125 ($110 if paid by March 31, 2019).  You can join or renew for the 2019 fiscal year up until December 31, 2019.   

Village shuttle to the mountain free for the 2018-19 season

Thanks to an agreement between Skyline and the Bear Valley Coop, the bus shuttle will be free for this winter season.

Subdivision roads are closed to cars  for the winter.

Bear Valley Education Foundation

7 years after shuttering our community school, Alpine County Unified School District reopened the Bear Valley School for the 2018/2019 academic year. 

Drones banned in and around Bear Lake

The BVRI Board has voted to ban drones and other flying machines above Bear Lake or within 50 feet of the shoreline.

Pesticides at Bear Valley

A Bear Valley dog died from eating pesticide left outside someone’s house. Pesticides or other toxic substances should not be used outside where wild animals (or dogs) can get at them, or where they can get into the watershed.
